Job description:
The Tobacco Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and control processes related to tobacco products within the organization. This role ensures that all tobacco products meet regulatory standards, internal quality specifications, and consumer expectations. The Tobacco Quality Manager will lead the implementation of quality management systems (QMS), monitor production quality, lead product testing, and ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., FDA, TPD) and company policies.
Key responsibilities:
• Development of tactical plans to complete overall Quality Strategy to meet goals
• Creation and maintenance of the Quality Requirements Manual (QRM) to define a central source of Quality Requirements for all operations and functions for Tobacco Products.

• Oversee the quality control processes, including raw material inspection, in-process checks, and final product testing.
• Clarification of organizational structure and role descriptions, including signing authority for dissemination of policy.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) for tobacco products to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and internal quality procedures.
• Ensure that raw materials meet quality standards by coordinating supplier quality management programs, conducting audits, and validating suppliers.
• Ensure that tobacco products meet industry specifications, such as moisture content, flavor consistency, and nicotine levels.
• Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and reduce quality deviations
• Excellent project management skills in defining scope, schedules, and resources to ensure consistent quality
• Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management on the status of quality metrics, compliance, audit outcomes, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), or Six Sigma are advantageous!
• We are looking candidate with 7-10 years of experience in quality management roles, with significant experience in the tobacco or consumer goods industry, including knowledge of tobacco-specific regulations.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring multi-functional teams, motivating them to achieve quality goals!
• Skilled in project management with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and manage timelines effectively
• End to end process understanding.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Always eager to learn and improve.
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills.
