Qualifications:

  • Total 8+ years IT Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Adobe Experience Manager/CQ5, preferably AEM 6.3 and above versions
  • Good knowledge about object-oriented programming and commonly used programming languages: Java, J2EE Servlet/JSP, XML
  • Experience with AEM building blocks including templates, components, dialogs widgets and bundles.
  • Experience with Java Content Repository (API) suite, Sling web framework and Apache Felix OSGi framework, and DAM.
  • Sound knowledge on multi-site management, sling models/Sightly (HTL) and workflows
  • Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks/libraries ( jQuery, Grunt, Bootstrap etc.), and CSS pre-processing platforms.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the following: Apache, App server logs, RESTful web services
  • Good understanding of Integration with adobe experience cloud products like Adobe Analytics, Target, campaign
  • Thorough knowledge of AEM back-end development with OSGI services, integration with external system
  • Through knowledge of the permission management including creation of user, user groups and permission management in AEM
  • Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and related tools like Jenkins / Bamboo etc.
  • Deep understanding on dispatchers and all its configurations
  • Familiarity with basic Linux or Unix concepts and commands
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

  • Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Experience Manager Sites Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the software design, development, and implementation using Adobe Experience Manager (Sites, Assets)
  • Provide strong testing and debugging skills at all levels, including unit, system, integration, and performance testing
  • Experience with test-driven development and ability to document requirements and specifications
  • Participate in the implementation of AEM content modelling, workflows, templates, and components and user permissions etc.
  • Setup and configure AEM authoring, publish, and dispatcher environment with Adobe recommended best practices.
  • Integrate AEM with other marketing products like Assets, Target, Campaign, and other internal endpoints.
  • Assist in deploying applications to Dev, QA, Production environments and migrations.
  • Work with front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular, react).
  • Proficiency in software engineering tools and CI/CD practice
  • Follow best practices for secure web programming and deployment. Adhere to internal best practices with respect to coding standards, unit test coverage, automation, and continuous integration.
