Job Title: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect to join our team. As an OCI Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure platform for our customers. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements, architecting solutions that meet their objectives while leveraging the full capabilities of OCI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Architecture- Design end-to-end solutions on OCI that align with client requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
  • Customer Engagement- Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, technical requirements, and constraints, and provide expert guidance on OCI capabilities and best practices.
  • Technical Leadership- Lead the technical design and implementation of OCI solutions, providing direction and guidance to technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Cloud Migration- Assess existing on-premises or cloud-based infrastructure and applications, develop migration strategies, and execute migration plans to OCI.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)- Implement Infrastructure as Code practices using tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of OCI resources.
  • Security and Compliance- Ensure OCI solutions meet industry-standard security and compliance requirements, implementing security controls, encryption, and access management measures as necessary.
  • Performance Optimization- Identify opportunities to optimize OCI solutions for performance, cost, and resource utilization, leveraging native OCI services and features.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions on OCI to proactively identify and address performance issues and security threats.
  • Documentation and Training- Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and training materials for clients and internal teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and best practice adoption.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure platform.
  • In-depth knowledge of OCI services, including Compute, Networking, Storage, Database, and Security.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, reliability, availability, and security.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration, deployment, and automation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and technical teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate or Professional preferred.
