Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with a strong background in COBOL, VSAM, JCL, DB2, and CICS. The ideal candidate will also possess expertise in scheduling tools, version control systems, ticketing systems, and team management. Knowledge of the insurance domain and Agile methodologies is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, VSAM, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
- Utilize IBM JCL utilities, File Manager, and version control tools like Changeman or Endeavor to manage codebases effectively.
- Work with scheduling tools such as TWS or CA7 for job scheduling and execution.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment using tools like Rally to track progress and manage deliverables.
- Provide support through ServiceNow or other ticketing systems to address issues and requests promptly.
- Manage and mentor a small team (2-4 members), ensuring quality delivery and adherence to project timelines.
- Engage in direct client interactions, demonstrating professional behavior and strong interpersonal skills.
- Quickly learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong proficiency in Mainframe technologies: COBOL, VSAM, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
- Hands-on experience with IBM JCL utilities and File Manager.
- Proficiency in version control tools such as Changeman or Endeavor.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools like TWS or CA7.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
- Experience managing a team of 2-4 individuals.
