Responsibilities

1.Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using Java Spring Boot and Spring Reactive frameworks.
2. Develop application and utilities on Google cloud platform using Java Spring Boot and Spring Reactive
3. Design implement and manage scalable and secure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

4. Leverage Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to provision and manage cloud resources efficiently.
5. Collaborate with DevOps and operations teams to deploy applications in containerized environments using Kubernetes.
6. Ensure best practices in code quality testing and deployment processes.
7. Optimize application performance and scalability in a cloud-native environment.
8. Work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
9. Work with cross functional teams and manage multiple competing priorities10. Work across multiple lines of business in a collaborative corporate environment.
11. Communicate status and issues with all levels of staff and management in a helpful and productive manner.

Experience

1. Minimum 4 years of software development / automation experience in the Cloud Platform engineering domain
2. Knowledge of common standards and practices involving CI/CD IAM and Security.
3. Strong software development background with expertise in cloud service automation
4. Proficiency in Java programming and hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Reactive frameworks.
5. Strong software development background with expertise in cloud service automation using technologies such as:a. Terraformb. Kubernetes Helmc. Java with Spring Bootd. Spring Reactivee. Linuxf. Hands-on experience with GCP.
6. Good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and architecture.
7. Intermediate-level experience with Terraform for IaC development and management.
8. Basic understanding of Kubernetes concepts container orchestration and containerization tools (e.g. Docker).
9. Familiarity with cloud-native application design patterns and microservices architecture.
10. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and optimize complex systems.
11. Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

salary discrepancy

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $61087 to 104364/yearly.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
