Title: Sapiens Adaptik Platform Developer
Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sapiens Adaptik Platform Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will participate in the design, development, and maintenance of end-user insurance enterprise software using the Sapiens Adaptik platform. This role requires transforming business requirements into system and programming level design specifications, estimating effort and timelines for changes, and performing development and testing. Additionally, the candidate will provide post-implementation support and handle incident and change management.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of insurance enterprise software using the Sapiens Adaptik platform.
  • Determine, analyze, and transform business requirements into detailed design specifications at both system and programming levels.
  • Estimate effort and timelines for changes and enhancements.
  • Perform development on the Sapiens Adaptik platform, implement changes, and conduct thorough testing.
  • Provide post-implementation support, including analyzing and resolving production problems.
  • Manage incidents and changes, including planning and execution. Handle on-call escalations as necessary.
  • Utilize knowledge of databases and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts in development tasks.
  • Apply knowledge of policy and billing applications, business flows, and enterprise financial, healthcare, and insurance processing systems.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the Sapiens Adaptik platform.
  • In-depth understanding of policy and billing applications and business flows in the insurance domain.
  • Experience in incident management and change management planning and execution.
  • Familiarity with databases and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Excellent conceptual, analytical, and mathematical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in the full software development lifecycle using agile methodologies, such as Scrum.
