Job description:

• Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets

• Drive RFx processes according to business needs and company policies and procedures

• Create value added in the purchasing process in context of savings, increasing process efficiency, vendor consolidation, supporting and promoting purchasing platforms, etc

• Negotiate contracts, prices and terms and conditions with suppliers and identifies opportunities for savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods

• Prepare and issue purchase orders and delivery schedules, validate received purchase request

• Ensure the right vendor selection based on existing policies, contracts, preferred vendors list and market research

• Assess and evaluate suppliers and contribute to performance reviews to ensure contract compliance

• Contact suppliers to resolve any operational discrepancies

• Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities

• Identify potential risks and address properly the correction actions

• Work closely with peers and identifies opportunities for continuous process improvement

• Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships

• Be professional in relation to all supplier and customer relationships

• Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures and process flow, DTPs and other relevant documentation guidance during supplier negotiations

• Proven purchasing experience min. 3 years

• Self-starter and motivated to work in highly dynamic and changing environment

• Highly skilled at building and maintaining good and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers

• Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills

• Analytical skills with strong proven problem-solving abilities and data management skills

• Results orientated and right priorities setting ability

• Project management experience

• Excellent organization skills and ability to support and influence

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs to include advanced Excel skills

• Ariba, iValua, SAP, Oracle, Coupa or any other sourcing systems will be an asset
