Job Description:

The Business Analyst will play a key role in driving the Treasury and Payments programs by gathering, analyzing, and documenting detailed business requirements. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including technical teams, project management, and senior leadership, to ensure that business needs are effectively addressed throughout the project lifecycle. This position involves overseeing the integration of anti-fraud and anti-money laundering products into client systems and managing performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Requirements:

    • Write detailed business requirements for Treasury and Payments programs, covering both high-level and granular details.
    • Create business design documents, process flows, and solution designs.
    • Assist program leads in overall business delivery and implementation.
  • Regulatory and Business Analysis:

    • Perform analysis of business and regulatory needs related to vendor products, especially in the FCC (Financial Crimes Compliance) domain.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure all business requirements are met as part of the larger implementation, addressing any gaps and finding timely solutions.
  • Workshops and Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Design and lead workshops/interviews to gather requirements and feedback from stakeholders.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for ensuring business requirements are being met during the implementation process.
    • Work directly with senior stakeholders to provide detailed updates on complex projects and implementations.
  • Performance Metrics and Integration:

    • Design and manage performance metrics in collaboration with program/project management and client stakeholders.
    • Oversee the integration of anti-fraud and anti-money laundering products into client infrastructures.
  • Testing and Implementation:

    • Conduct business requirements testing to ensure that all requirements are included in the product implementation.
    • Collaborate with technical and project management teams to resolve implementation issues and drive the project forward.

Required Skills:

  • Experience:

    • 1-3 years of experience in banking or financial services.
    • 1-3 years of experience in a project management framework environment.
    • Proven experience as a business analyst, particularly in Treasury and Payments programs.
  • Skills:

    • Strong business analysis skills with the ability to document and communicate complex requirements.
    • Ability to design and lead workshops and interviews to extract business requirements.
    • Experience in business requirements testing and ensuring comprehensive solution delivery.
    • Strong communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with anti-fraud and anti-money laundering products.
  • Familiarity with the Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) domain.
  • Knowledge of integration processes for banking systems.

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
