About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Compliance Coordinator to join our growing Facilities team here at Calyx. This role will support regulatory compliance for our London Facility, focussing on GxP Quality Assurance and Environment Health and Safety (EHS). You will provide comprehensive GxP and EHS administrative support to the London Facilities and Quality Assurance teams through document control, compilation of reports, document archiving and co-ordination of training. You will also support the co-ordination of Facilities engineering and maintenance activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience providing facilities compliance support within a GxP compliant laboratory setting. We will also consider individuals with relevant EHS experience & qualifications who are open to learning GxP compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for lnvicro Facilities and Quality Assurance departments
  • Act as subject matter expert for Facilities related GxP systems and procedures.
  • Implement and manage GxP control procedures across all Facilities, ICL 3rd party suppliers and Quality Assurance administration functions.
  • Ensure the Facilities department Q-pulse is audit ready for internal and external regulatory audits.
  • Implement and manage general administrative and office management systems for the Facilities and Quality Assurance departments.
  • Lead in the completion of facilities and equipment related validation activities and change controls.
  • Comply with EHS policies and procedures.
  • Co-ordinate and delivery EHS training to Invicro employees and external contractors.
  • Manage SOPs for facilities team & ICL suppliers.
  • Ensure GxP compliance to meet all administration standards set by lnvicro Facilities and Quality Assurance departments.
  • Manage Facility GMP contractor site visits including pre-qualification and compliance.
  • Manage GxP documentation, including archiving, storage and retrieval of information.
  • Assist with scheduling and planning of engineering services shutdown program.
  • Liaise with building Landlord to ensure maintenance issues are reported, repairs are scheduled and maintenance logs are tracked.
  • Complete purchase order requests for consumable items and maintenance services via the company procurement system.
  • Support Facilities manager to meet business needs.
  • Assist in the compilation and issue of Quality Assurance reports.
  • Ensure accident and incident investigation documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
  • Generate EHS reports and metrics in line with Invicro EHS policies.
  • Co-ordinate regular EHS meetings.

Essential Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience providing Facilities regulatory coordination within a GxP environment.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
  • Must have the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

Desirable Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience within EHS compliance is preferred but not essential.
  • Relevant IOSH EHS qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous experience within Human Pharma industry is preferred but not essential
