Cadence is seeking a high performing senior sales leader working within the Americas and India Sales Region to drive focused and collaborative strategic engagement with their major strategic accounts based on key differentiation to drive incremental business over a strategic timeframe. This is an excellent opportunity to help drive revenue and market share for Cadence EDA, Design Services, HW and IP portfolios in the semiconductor industry while building a deeper interdependent, codependent collaboration between Cadence & their major strategic customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage strategic relationships with major strategic accounts, sales team & strategy as well as technical sales team day to day and identify areas of growth to drive sales with solid and consistent YoY growth within the designated strategic accounts.

- Drive deeper collaboration to gain revenue and market share over a strategic time frame for Cadence EDA, Design Services, HW and IP portfolio.
- A player/coach who is hands-on developing critical sales skills and leading from the front and customer facing at CxO level, actively engaged in winning market share within existing and new major strategic accounts for large deals individually and coaching the team.
- Build senior client relationships and become a "trusted advisor" to C level within customers.
- Demonstrate the value of the Cadence solutions, negotiate and close complex contract negotiations.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and exceed quarterly and annual bookings and revenue targets for a defined group of major strategic customer accounts.
- Present plans, forecasts, strategic account plans, and business requests to senior level and executive level management internally.
- Set priorities and coordinate resources across Cadence business units including Application Eng, Product Eng, R&D, Finance and Legal.
Key Qualifications
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding annual business bookings targets of multiple hundreds of $M.
- Able to drive cross functional collaboration through a holistic, assertive, collaborative, influencing style of sales leadership.
- Technically confident in the articulation of, and positioning of Cadence solutions both internally & externally.
- Experience of selling complex software centric deals with major strategic accounts from $100M + within the EDA/ Semi-Conductor industry would be ideal.
- BS, EE preferred or related field with 10-15 years + of successful, relevant sales/management experience with a history of managing a high-performing sales team, closure of complex multimillion dollar contracts and track record of exceeding quota.
- Must have ability to call "high" (Executive and Engineering Management) to help drive $multi-million-dollar, complex sales campaigns with multiple decision makers and influencers across the customer organization.
- Requires a deep understanding of SoC design processes relevant to the customer ecosystem.
- A proven track record of leading a team in identifying and understanding customer pain-points and mapping them to solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the complete sales process, strong communication skills, and the ability to interact with engineering and financial staff at all levels.

The annual salary range for California is $ to $. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
