We are looking for a full stack software engineer to work in our team in central London developing a cutting-edge web application as part of a suite of tools to simulate and manage data centre digital twins. You will be participating in the entire software development life cycle, from concept to delivery and maintenance. You will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of the web application.   • Collaborate with other software engineers, technical account managers and product managers to understand project requirements and contribute to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Particulate in sprint planning, sprint review, feature design meetings to contribute to project planning and refinement.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of front-end and back-end functionalities using MongoDB, Angular and Node.JS.
  • Debug and troubleshoot bugs and features, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining optimal application performance and quality.
  • Incorporating unit tests, integration tests and regression tests into the development workflow to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Contribute to code reviews to ensure best practices and comprehensive test coverage.
  • Review and rectify security vulnerabilities to ensure robust security practices.
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative and work in a team-oriented environment, stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications:

  • Scientific-oriented degree (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering)
  • Experiences in Object Oriented Language and/or Functional Programming Language
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
  • Knowledge of server-side development such as NodeJS, MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of front-end framework such as Angular, React.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working within an Agile development team.
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Subversion, Git.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript, Angular, Docker, cloud services such as AWS, Web Assembly.
  • Experience with NodeJS - child process/worker/cluster/debugging/monitoring.
  • Experience with MongoDB - Nodejs native driver/aggregations/change stream/performance optimization/Mongo Atlas.
  • Experience with Angular - directives/change detection/table/charts/responsive design/angular material.
  • Knowledge of rendering 3D graphical content in the browser and provide UI for geometry manipulations - WebGL2/WebGPU/THREE.js
  • Knowledge of AI/ML and working with LLMs, Vector Databases, Prompt Engineering.
  • Knowledge of web security and best practices.
  • Knowledge of working with testing frameworks and Test-Driven Design/Development (TDD).
  • Knowledge of Software Design Patterns.
  • Knowledge of Visual Studio Code.
