Cadence IT is seeking a skilled Business System Analyst with a proven history of delivering scalable application solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role requires a deep understanding of sales and support business processes, Salesforce Sales / Service Cloud capabilities, strong analytical and communication skills, and collaboration with customers and technical teams to create unique customer solutions leveraging the full power of the Salesforce platform.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead dynamic and interactive requirements gathering sessions with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple business groups and guide users toward Out-of-box Salesforce solutions and industry "Best Practices"

2. Adopt a robust analytical approach to evaluate business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and decompose high-level information into detailed requirements, emphasizing cross-functional inter-dependencies
3. Create and maintain the Functional Specs documentation, including use cases, and work collaboratively with the team to test and deploy the system changes
4. Work with development, design, and QA teams to ensure the business requirements are implemented and validated as per documented specs
5. Monitor Salesforce Service Cloud upgrades and industry trends, recommending best practices and new features to improve efficiency and leverage native functionality as much as possible
6. Develop reports, dashboards, and metrics to provide insights to stakeholders
Qualifications:
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
2. 10+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role, with 3+ years experience on Salesforce Sales and/or Service Cloud required
3. Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud features
4. Proficient in creating process diagrams, user stories, and functional specifications
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving measurable outcomes
6. Ability to build consensus among cross-functional business stakeholders (at different levels of the organization) on approach and outcomes and help deliver robust, scalable technology solutions
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills, expertise in managing crucial customer conversations, coupled with strong negotiating and conflict-resolution abilities
8. Results-oriented and self-starter with a desire to learn and continuously augment skills
9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or Technology related field
10. Salesforce Certification a plus
Location: San Jose, California
The annual salary range for California is $109,200 to $202,800. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
