The Product Engineering team works with Customers and foundries, R&D, Marketing, and the Applications Engineers to create products that address the unique and complex needs of our customers. A Physical Verification Product Engineer provides in-depth technical expertise in writing Physical Verification rule decks (i.e. DRC, ERC, FILL and LVS) and the usage of Physical Verification tools throughout physical implementation and signoff verification cycles.
- Playing as PV (Physical Verification) experts in foundry design enablement kit and its validation.
- Candidate should have in-depth background for Physical Verification rule decks (i.e. DRC, FILL, or LVS)
- Developing Pegasus PDK rule deck solution in timely manner as a PV Engineer and working closely with customer on site and off site.
- PDK rule deck related issues following between foundries and corporate R&D are the major responsibility.
- Setup efficient flows to improve rule deck development quality and product performance.
- Run expert-level benchmarks and solve complex customer problems.
- Work with the R&D, field, customers and foundries to identify and define product requirement and enhancement.

Requirements
- 2+ year professional experience (Master's degree) or 3+ year (Bachelor's degree)
- In-depth understanding Physical Verification rule decks (e.g., DRC, FILL, or LVS)
- Knowledge / experience for commercial physical verification tools (e.g., PVS/Pegasus, Calibre, ICV, etc.) is required.
- Good communication skills internally with team members and externally with customers.
- Work experience in design service team would be advantageous.
- Speaking/writing proficiency in English.
- Programming of Tcl, Perl, Python and Skill are a plus.
