Cadence Design Systems Inc. is looking for a Lead Software Engineer: Verisium Debug R&D to work in the Verisium Debug Team in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Job Description:
- Develop world leading verification solutions used by top tier hardware design and consumer electronics companies.
- Work closely with our customers and leading academic researchers to rapidly grow our technology, framework, and solutions.
- Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining features at Cadence's Verisium Debug tool.
- Collaborate with developers and product experts to write software requirement specifications.
- Implement and test code features.
- Investigate and fix bugs.
- Optimize code performance for speed and scalability.
- Mentor and help develop less experienced colleagues.

Requirements:
- Complete bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with one or more object-oriented programming languages like: C++, Java, Python.
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese.
