Position: Application Engineer - Digital Implementation (EMEA) f/m/d
Duration: 12 months
As Intern Application Engineer Digital implementation, you will work very closely together with our digital implementation experts to help achieving the area, power, and performance targets for the next generation chips in advanced technologies.
Position Description:
As an intern, you will work as part of a multinational engineering team dealing with digital implementation challenges. You will greatly expand your knowledge on the technical aspect of design automation of the digital implementation flow from synthesis to signoff, use Cadence's cutting-edge tools and attend excellent technical training courses.

This is a great opportunity to gain in depth experience in various EDA tools and to get familiar with the semiconductor design and methodologies. In this internship there are few limits; it's up to you to decide how much you want to deepen your knowledge and push for personal excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in regression runs.
- Analyze complex technical problems and find solutions.
- Assist in flow integration especially of new AI features.
Position Requirements
- Studies of Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related discipline
- Solid understanding of UNIX/Linux, C-shell, TCL/TK programming and scripting
- Good understanding of digital IC design and implementation
- Good communication skills and ability to work remotely (fluent in English)
- Be a team player.
- Problem solving skills.
- PnR experience would be a welcome addition.
