Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. As an SRE, you will be a technical expert in designing, managing, and administering both on-premise and cloud (AWS) infrastructure to meet the evolving demands of the organization. You will work closely with development teams and key stakeholders, applying your technical proficiency to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security. This role focuses on fault analysis, proactive issue resolution, and infrastructure optimization to support critical client applications and services.

Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum 8+ years of recent hands-on experience in infrastructure design, system administration, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
• Educational Background: BS/MS in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent field.
• Technical Skills:
o Expertise in cloud platforms, including AWS, VMware Cloud on AWS, and Azure.
o Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
o Experience managing Windows Server environments (2012-2025) and Microsoft SQL servers/databases.
o Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup and Replication for data protection and disaster recovery.
o Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, AWS deployments, and optimization processes.
o Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., vCenter, ESXi) and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Soft Skills:
o Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
o Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Nice-to-Have:
o Financial industry experience.
o Experience in managing Software-Defined Data Centers (SDDCs) across hybrid environments.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Design & Optimization
• Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable infrastructure to meet business and client needs.
• Optimize cloud costs and minimize infrastructure footprint to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with business units on secure and efficient application deployments, adhering to best practices.
Cloud & Virtualization Management
• Manage and provision AWS resources, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, Elastic Load Balancers, Auto Scaling groups, Route 53, Certificate Manager, RDS, and Parameter Store.
• Oversee Software-Defined Data Centers (SDDCs) across VMware Cloud on AWS, IBM Cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot virtualization environments, including vCenter and ESXi hosts.
Monitoring & Automation
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot potential issues.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
Disaster Recovery & High Availability
• Perform disaster recovery (DR) testing and implement high-availability (HA) solutions to ensure system uptime and business continuity.
• Manage and configure Veeam Backup and Replication, including replication groups and cloud repositories.
System Modernization & Security
• Participate in legacy modernization efforts, including Active Directory implementation, DNS integration, and hardware refresh projects.
• Implement best practices for security, compliance, and system architecture to meet audit and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration & Documentation
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance system reliability and scalability.
• Participate in on-call rotations to address incidents and maintain service uptime.
• Conduct root cause analysis for system failures and implement preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, systems, and standard operating procedures.
