Senior Technical Support Specialist (Hybrid)

Provides post-sale technical support services to customers, including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution and maintenance. Responds to customer questions regarding operation and malfunctions. Advises customers on preventive maintenance and configuration adjustments to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.

We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge officeandgiven the flexibility to work from home.

Responsibilities:
  • -Applies a theoretical knowledge-base to work to achieves goals through own work
  • -Characterized by specific functional expertise typically gained through formal education
  • -May provide guidance to others as a project manager using technical expertise
  • -Requires in-depth knowledge and experience
  • -Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services
  • -Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions
  • -Works independently, receives minimal guidance
  • -Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  • -Requires understanding and application of procedures and concepts within own discipline and basic knowledge of other disciplines
  • -Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • -Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
  • -Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • -Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies
  • -Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-6 years' experience as business analyst/product owner/client support specialist
  • Prior experience writing business requirements, user stories or functional specifications required
  • SQL, troubleshooting skills required
  • Sybase, Unix scripting such as Bash, Java preferred
  • Mortgage Back security processing knowledge preferred
  • Prior experience working in Financial Services Industry a strong plus
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including a strong track record of cross-team and cross-client team participation
  • An energetic, positive, and innovative attitude, with leadership and facilitation skills to bring products and projects to a successful delivery
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall Methodology
  • BS/BA degree
