In this role, you will manage information securitywhich includes the processes and methodologies which are designed and implemented to protect any form of confidential, private and sensitiveinformationor data from unauthorized access, use, misuse, disclosure, destruction, modification, or disruption. Ensures necessary security mechanisms are built into all IT applications, which may include backup and disaster recovery procedures, and control of access to information.

This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain comprehensive information security program and operations.
  • You will perform internal security and regulatory compliance assessments and audits across the enterprise to help senior leadership understand the current state and effectiveness of IT and security controls.
  • You will collaborate and communicate with stakeholders, management, and senior leaders providing guidance and recommendations to address any weaknesses to ensure compliance with internal policies and standards, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Information security is to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of computer system data from those with malicious intentions. In addition, it refers to the processes and methodologies which are designed and implemented to protect print, electronic, or any other form of confidential, private and sensitive information or data from unauthorized access, use, misuse, disclosure, destruction, modification, or disruption.
Qualifications:
  • BS/BA in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in performing assessments/audits.
  • Understanding of Information Security standards, frameworks, policies, and compliance regulations.
  • Familiarity with PCI Data Security Standards (DSS), HIPAA, Medicare, and HITRUST.
  • Experience in planning assessments, building the assessment documentation packages, and leading organizations through the assessment compliance processes.
  • Experience preparing assessment reports with recommendations based on the assessment results working with the business and SMEs.
  • Ability to discuss, translate, and articulate security concepts, threats, risks, and controls into easily understood concepts by all levels of the business and management.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate through all parts of the business.
  • Good project management skills.
Salary range $100,000 - $150,000. Bonus Eligible.
