BU (Business Unit) Details:

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Review requirements to identify all areas of functional and non-functional testing required within timeframe
  • Create and execute tests using Approved Automation/Functional/Performance Test tools as applicable aligning to overall test strategy defined
  • Ensure the product meets the minimum quality standards, is fully functional and user-friendly
  • Ensure the full application of all relevant quality assurance protocols, processes, and procedures
  • Adhere to agreed-upon functional specifications and applicable quality assurance standards
  • Manages the troubleshooting and resolution of quality assurance problems and issues
  • Designs, implements and supports compliance and ongoing preparation, testing and monitoring of conformance to established quality assurance processes and standards. Also performs evaluation of internal controls, communications, risk assessments and maintenance of documentation as related to compliance with internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Identifies risk and evaluates deficiencies while working with internal departments/business units to appropriately remedy them. Designs and facilitates internal training on quality assurance requirements, processes, and procedures. Performs audits and risk assessment and determine corrective actions if needed.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Bachelors' Degree with 3-6 years of relevant experience in Functional and API testing.
  • Applies a theoretical knowledge-base to work to achieves goals through own work
  • Characterized by specific functional expertise typically gained through formal education.
  • May provide guidance to others as a project manager using technical expertise.
  • Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills
  • Builds knowledge of the company, processes and customers
  • Solves a range of straightforward problems
  • Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures
  • Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction
  • Requires understanding and application of procedures and concepts within own discipline and basic knowledge of other disciplines
  • Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work
  • No supervisory responsibilities but provides informal guidance to new team members
  • Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents
  • Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies
  • Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations
