- As a QA Engineer, our ideal candidate would have a working knowledge of SQL/noSQL databases, and a superior understanding of how to work iteratively with complex data sets (e.g., reference data, market data, customer data). The QA Engineer understands how test scenarios work to verify and measure accuracy, completeness and performance of data delivery as they are used and controlled in the various systems/applications.
- The ideal candidate will be successful in applying principles of sound Business Analysis and best practices in driving creation of Functional and Behavior-Driven tests, Integration tests and Resiliency tests. Emphasis will be placed on identifying relevant types of testing for various types of applications and their corresponding automated test frameworks. Familiarity with Selenium for the UI (Cucumber/Gherkin language), and Integration testing tools for API and end-to-end integration testing from source systems is expected.
- Our Quality Engineer will have solid experience working with test processes, methodologies, tools, and technology, and have a passion to share best practices in test case creation and management that would enhance our company's enterprise-wide QE capability. The candidate understands test strategies that can be executed timely to accommodate an Agile SDLC organized into Sprints. To that end, good common sense, and strategies that maximize automation capability would promote identification of a sensible set of regression tests to run efficiently within the timeframe of each Sprint delivery.
