Broadridge is hiring! We are seeking a Physical Security Console Operator to join our team in Edgewood, Long Island.
This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.
Responsibilities:
- The physical security of the site in regards to protection of assets and personnel.
- Monitor and control personnel access into the facility.
- Monitor and report the following: event alarms triggered on the access control system and or closed-circuit television (CCTV) system, ID/access badge issue, physical security of the site, and the historical log book.
- Respond, evaluate and resolve any event alarms received at the console monitoring station.
- Conduct roving patrol inspections of the Broadridge facilities, both external and internal, and notifying the proper Broadridge authority of any issues found to include procedural breaches in security policies.
- Keep the Security Management Team abreast of all security matters and issues as they pertain to the site and perform additional duties as directed.
- Must be able to work from 6AM-2PM Thursday to Monday. Shift is subject to change based on coverage and department needs.
- Must have flexibility. Must be able to travel and perform other related duties and functions as assigned by management.

- High School diploma is required with a minimum of three years of experience in the security field.
- Ability to communicate orally with other Security and Facility personnel and in the written form in a clear and concise manner.
- Must be vigilant, reporting any security issues or incidents.
- Knowledge of filing and phone courtesy is required.
- Ability to use personal computer, including, but not limited to, a basic level of the following: Typing, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint is required.
- CPR qualified preferred. #LI-PS1

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
