Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.
In this role, you will be pivotal in managing finance processes for APAC legal entities, ensuring the integrity of financial records, and collaborating across various teams to drive process improvements and compliance. Core Responsibilities:
- APAC Finance Processes: Oversee the accounting for one or several APAC legal entities, acting as the primary accounting contact and managing complex general ledger transactions, accruals, and prepayments.

- Month-End & Year-End Close: support timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities, responsible for computing and executing transfer pricing calculations.
- Financial Record-keeping: Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and trial balances over multiple legal entities.
- Audit, Statutory & Tax Compliance: support indirect tax compliance tasks (including VAT/GST returns), collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors throughout the audit process and assists with the preparation of annual financial statements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Finance Business Partners, Tax, Treasury, and Shared Services teams (such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Fixed Assets) to ensure seamless financial operations and regulatory compliance.
- Process Improvement & Innovation: Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement and systems enhancement (leveraging tools like Oracle Fusion) to optimize our financial operations.
- Ad-hoc Support: Provide analytical support and insights to the Financial Controller and senior finance team members for various high-priority projects and compliance initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience with a solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software; experience with Oracle Fusion is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design process flows, identify control points, and implement improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English, enabling effective collaboration across teams.
- Proven ability to meet strict deadlines with strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented capabilities.
