Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for providing leadership and strategy to develop and enhance business continuity readiness and crisis response preparedness. To this end, he/she will need to:

  • Develop and maintain close partnerships across disciplines (IT, Information Security, Account Management, HR, Finance, Facilities, Communications, Safety, Security, etc.).
  • Establish the policy, structure, methodology, and standards for developing, maintaining, and testing enterprise-wide Business Continuity Plans.
  • Lead and support all Broadridge Business Units and Business Unit BCP Champions and Broadridge Management in the ongoing management of Business Continuity "Life Cycle" activities consisting of risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy development, implementation, testing and review, plan maintenance and update.
  • Ensure linkage between the risk and readiness programs through risk analyses, business impact analyses, scenario-based reviews, business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • Develop, update, and coordinate the Corporate Crisis Management Program in alignment with industry and regulatory best practices (i.e., DRII & FFIEC).
  • Partner across business units, functions, and countries to develop standardized activation, notification, and crisis management process & procedures.
  • Oversee the global crisis management team training and readiness program for business unit, corporate, and executive crisis teams.
  • Manage the execution and completion of all business continuity and crisis management test activities and identify recommendations to improve process, plans, and procedures.
  • Manage crisis activation and flow across business continuity plan activation, DR plan activation, incident response teams and executive situation status reporting.
  • Oversee the execution of business continuity and crisis management plans when disruptions occur.
  • Develop and manage key performance and key risk indicators related to business continuity and crisis management to ensure objectives are met.
  • Manage the creation of program status communications to internal management (e.g., Crisis Management Steering Committee and/or Executive Leadership Team) and external stakeholders (including regulators, auditors, and clients) regarding the status of the business continuity and crisis management programs, including annual reporting, audit report responses and client requests.
  • Participate in SIFMA Crisis Management, BCP/DR, and Cyber related exercises and activities and represent Broadridge on industry committees.

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Disaster Recovery planning professional with experience in managing different types of crises including information security incidents.
  • 'Executive presence' and the ability to immediately establish credibility within the organization and with clients and partners.
  • Ability to perform independently and understand sense of urgency.
  • Proven skills in leadership with a proven track record in delivering committed results in a matrix environment.
  • A tenacious drive for results, utilizing sound project management, organizational, information systems and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to successfully lead a variety of projects of multifaceted complexity working with staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to provide superior customer service to support our clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to work with senior management
  • Certifications (e.g., CBCP) a plus.
  • Information Security experience and certification a plus.

  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of linkage elements among strategy, process, organization, and technology factors in developing / deploying processes, services and performance support and change management solutions

Ensure that the appropriate communication messages across all business areas are delivered by the most appropriate channel of communication

Strong facilitation skills

Strong influencing and internal "selling" skills to be able to gain sponsorship and buy-in from colleagues and executives

Ability to develop strong relationships with Broadridge executives and non-executives

Salary range $135,000- $145,000. Bonus Eligible.
