Broadridge is Growing! We are seeking a motivated and experienced Devops and Deployment Engineer to join our team and take responsibility for automating our manual software deployment processes. The ideal candidate is passionate about efficiency, has a strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment to drive operational excellence.

Work Mode: We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be coming into the office 2 days a week andgiven the flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Process Automation: Design, implement, and manage automated deployment pipelines to streamline the delivery of software products.
  • Tool Integration: Identify, integrate, and maintain automation tools and technologies to support the deployment process. This may include CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Develop scripts and tools to monitor automation processes, generating reports and dashboards for continuous improvement and operational insights.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation of automation processes, technical requirements, and standardized procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance with best practices.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues in automation workflows, providing timely support and solutions to keep the deployment process on track.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years or more experience in software deployment, automation engineering, or a related field.
  • Work experience in AI area is a plus.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools. Example: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Terraform.
  • Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Gitlab.
  • Hands-on experience with automation of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Hourly range $70-80/hr
