The Data Analyst will have responsibility for analyzing opportunities, conducting financial modeling, and providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes. The Analyst will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management and investors, to assess the financial viability and risks associated with various Real Estate and Procurement projects. Responsibilities fall into several categories.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for a range of business outcomes, including cash flow projections, discounted cash flow analysis, sensitivity analysis, and ROI calculations
- Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to assist management in making informed decisions
- Build strong working relationships with a broad range of internal clients and stakeholders
- Build strong reporting capabilities that could be used for procurement and real estate decisions
- Support department training and development program initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings related to financial feasibility studies
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial assumptions and alignment with company goals
- Monitor performance against pre-established department objectives and individually established goals
- Proactively communicate with Real Estate and Procurement management around all work in progress and any concerns/challenges as these come up
- Develop and manage systems for compiling and analyzing various sources of financial, utilization, and other real estate related data
- Evaluate historical and current leases, contracts, and other data to understand key trends
- Manage lease management database and other related systems as needed
- Gather and analyze market data, industry trends, and other sources of data to assess market conditions and strategic location selection and planning
- Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and annual business plans for real estate assets

- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a real estate, contracting, procurement or legal related function as part of a multinational organization;
- BA/BS or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Supply Chain, or other business field (also systems, statistics, economics, or mathematics); advanced degree and/or CFA designation preferred
- Proven experience as a Real Estate or Procurement Analyst or similar role
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools
- Proficiency working with databases, software/cloud applications
- Experience working with visualization applications such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik
- Experience working with SQL, Python, or other related coding languages for the purpose of data processing and report generation
- Excellent reporting, presenting, and communication skills
- Lease and contract management knowledge and experience and understanding is preferred
- Strong team player, with the innate ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
