The Business Development Manager serves as a consultative product specialist and business development professional in EMEA and APAC reporting to General Manager, Corporate Governance Data and Insights. Primary responsibility is to provide functional & technical support, including assessing customer needs with a consultative approach, creating custom demonstrations to the identified needs, and generally supporting the sales process with prospects and clients.

The primary product focus will be our Investor Communication offering. The Business Development Manager will support the development of new relationships with Issuers and Investors.

General Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients, prospects, partners and provide comprehensive understanding of the relevant applications/solutions through product demonstrations, technical explanations, and documentation.
  • Prepare business analysis discovery documentation and presentation material to product management teams for missing functional gaps
  • Establish domain expertise and credibility with customers on best practices.
  • Assist the sales team in the completion of Requests for Proposals (RFP), and Requests for Information (RFI) as well as liaise with the team to prepare business analysis discovery documentation and presentation material to prospects to highlight the value proposition of our offering.
  • Communicate customer/prospect activities with the assigned sales executive.
  • Liaise with Product Managers and Development teams to understand details of product direction and design and communicate information back to sales organization.
  • Configure applications for demonstrations, proof of concept presentations, prototyping and benchmarking
  • Develop sales support material to represent the solution offering to the client and collaborate with sales personnel to provide product and technical knowledge in support of pre-sales activities.
Responsibilities:
  • 5 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position.
  • Master's degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in business, finance, or technology-related fields.
  • Experience working with Sales, Account Management, Product and Technology teams.
  • Ability to initiate, develop and maintain relationships and represent Broadridge at senior level, both internally and externally.
  • Previous experience supporting sales department in a high pace software sale environment.
  • Collaboration skills including working in complex matrix organizations.
  • Ability to initiate, develop and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
