Broadridge is Growing! We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with a Financial & Data Integration Background tojoin our Architecture & Innovation Team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the financial/securities industry, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.

Work-Mode:This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Mapping and Integration:
  • Request and facilitate data requirements with source system stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops and online sessions to identify data elements and understand source system data usage, structures, and processes.
  • Produce mapping logic and rules from source system(s) to target system(s) based on business and technical requirements.
  • Perform data analysis to verify that mapping rules can correctly transfer source system data to target systems.
  • Create mapping documents for developers to build specifications and data integration
  • Support unit testing, system integration testing, and user-acceptance-testing.
Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for securities services projects.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Translate business needs into clear and concise functional specifications and requirements.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between business units and development teams.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or issues that arise.
Solution Design and Validation:
  • Work closely with technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements and align with overall business strategy.
  • Participate in the development and testing of new systems, applications, and features.
  • Validate solutions through user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure they meet the defined requirements.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, data mapping, data definitions, functional specifications and process maps.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant parties.
Qualifications:

Industry Knowledge:
  • In-depth understanding of the securities industry, including trading, settlement, custody, and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and protocols such as FIX, SWIFT, ISO 20022,Rest APIs andKAFKA.
Analytical Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business requirements.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and modeling techniques.
Technical Proficiency:
  • Experience with business analysisand data mappingtools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of database concepts,data mapping and transformation; SQL is a plus.
  • Familiarity with industry standard documentation and project management software including but not limited to JIRA and Confluence etc.
Communication and Collaboration:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
