We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Application Support Engineer to provide advanced troubleshooting for our suite of products within a fast-growing IT team in Gdansk. In this role, you will be on the front lines of technical support, balancing customer interaction with in-depth problem investigation and resolution. You will help ensure that our critical business applications operate seamlessly by managing support activities, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

  • Manage and Support our users for:
    o A critical BI application (Upload Configuration Files ; Troubleshoot for data upload errors / issues; Preview
    Environments; Gather Info for lists (usually python scripts / ruby scripts); Delete / Removals of sub environments or
    users
    o A Mutual fund sales support tool - Queries on completion of jobs, data accuracy, issues with data
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, reproduce and resolve customer issues with urgency and determine a resolution of the problem.
  • Utilize various software tools, techniques, and processes to investigate and resolve problems.
  • Clearly and completely document processes and problem resolutions.
  • Contribute to and maintain the company knowledge base and code repositories with relevant information and software fixes
    (scripts, recommendations, and so on).
  • Work to maintain a current working knowledge of the software products
Preferred Qualifications & Technical Skills
  • Educational background in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Oracle, T-SQL, and experience with Java or .NET
  • Experience in managing a BI environment,
  • Familiarity with Linux and JavaScript is a plus
  • Experience with ticket management and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
