Role overview
Working as part of the corporate finance accounting team, the intern will offer support with Oracle migration and for the accurate monthly closing of thebusiness units. Reporting directly to the Regional GL, the intern will be responsible to offer support for general ledger/ accounts payable integrity and balance sheet accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ad-hoc reports
- Responsible for assigned general ledger/ accounts payable transactions
- Analyse and interpret large sets of Financial Data, working alongside Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to identify trends and report on variances
- Participates in month-end closings, ensuring the monthly variation of accounts is in line with expected results
- Prepare the balance sheet reconciliations and data consolidation
- Assists the audit process by preparing the information requested by the auditors, if required
- Cooperates closely with GL/AP team, Treasury and Finance Business Partners
- Ensures the processes are properly documented

- Graduate or enrolled master's student in Accounting/Finance
- Fluency in English is required
- Good Excel skills are required
- Proactive, team orientated and deadline-oriented
