Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Frontend Website Developer with expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development, ReactJS, and JavaScript frameworks. This role will be integral to the support and enhancement of our web platforms for key brands, including Bridgestone, Firestone, and Bandag. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of professional experience working with modern frameworks and a proven track record of delivering premium digital experiences.
To be successful in this position, the candidate must use their communication skills as significant collaboration is required across stakeholder groups and external agencies. The candidate must be able to thoughtfully present content and ideas to senior leadership and play a pivotal role in the technical implementation of our digital strategies.
Join us to help shape the future of our digital landscape and deliver exceptional experiences to our customers and stakeholders.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead the internal development, and management of AEM components, templates, and workflows, ensuring they meet the needs of various business units and enhance the overall digital customer experience. Responsible for new interface tracks and component development within the design system or AEM platforms.
• Translate designs into pixel-perfect, engaging, fluid digital experiences. Write HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), and JavaScript that is tested, idiomatic, and documented.
• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using React and other JS frameworks, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• API integrations using REST APIs or GraphQL to load material and ensure seamless integration with backend services.
• Monitor and optimize web application performance, ensuring fast load times and a seamless user experience.
• Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, design, and IT, as well as external agencies to align on project requirements and deliverables. Collaborate with experience designers and developers on design, development, QA, launch, and maintenance.
• Maintain high standards of code quality and accessibility through peer-reviews, automated testing, and adherence to WCAG best practices.
• Integration of Adobe Marketing Cloud tools such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Tag Manager with AEM JSP templates.

Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related fieldCERTIFICATIONS: Desired: certifications in Adobe Experience Manager and JavaScript frameworks, demonstrating specialized knowledge and skills alignment with the job requirements.LANGUAGES: Advanced EnglishDESIRED EXPERIENCE• Understanding of SEO principles and implementation.
• Basic knowledge of backend technologies and how frontend interfaces with backend APIs. Understanding of the Java Content Repository API
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools.ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
• A minimum of 7 years in frontend development, with a significant focus on AEM and web applications. Experience in teamwork, code reviews, and testing all levels. Working with experience designers and developers on design, development, QA, launch, and maintenance.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using related tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate with design teams to create intuitive user interfaces and experiences.
• At least 1 year in current position (internal candidates).

SPECIFIC TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE• Proficient in AEM development, including components, templates, and integrations. Comfortable with Apache Felix/Sling models, Jackrabbit, CRXDE, OSGi configurations, and JCR structure.• Strong proficiency in Java, HTL, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies used in AEM development. Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), and JavaScript/ECMAScript and their integration into AEM.
• Integration of Adobe Marketing Cloud tools such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Tag Manager with AEM JSP templates.
