What You'll Do

The Employer Brand & Employee Experience Specialist operates within the People department, and cross-functionally engages with the Talent Acquisition, Marketing, Communications and Social Impact teams, to market Braze as an employer of choice. 

Reporting to the Team Lead, Employer Brand, you will be responsible for contributing to our employer brand strategy across paid, owned and earned channels. You will be tasked with developing recruitment marketing programs, communications and campaigns that grow candidate awareness and ultimately attract qualified applicants to Braze, while also helping cultivate a strong workplace culture.

  • Develop content strategy aimed at showcasing Braze's Employer Value Proposition (EVP) across channels and touchpoints (e.g. social media, talent communities, blog, employee advocacy channels, etc.).
  • Leverage data/insights to ideate and create content, in collaboration with key stakeholders, to consistently and effectively showcase #BrazeLife and our one-of-a-kind culture. 
  • Lead our global workplace awards strategy, including communications, surveys, employee activations, announcements and earned media (e.g. Great Place To Work®).
  • Manage and/or support internal and external events, both in-person and virtual (e.g. industry conferences, recruitment events, ERG events, etc).
  • Support our ERG Program by liaising with various stakeholders & ERG leads, assisting with programming and stewarding budget.
  • Activate and enhance employee experience programs (e.g. Value Awards, Buddy Program) that help build community and foster a positive workplace culture.

Who You Are

You have:

  • Experience across employer branding, employee experience, marketing, content, and/or communications; BA/BS degree preferred but not required
  • Strong storytelling, creative, verbal and written communication skills 
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills that foster long-term relationships and facilitate work cross functionally 
  • The ability to manage and organize multiple demanding tasks with accuracy, and prioritize competing projects
  • The flexibility to work with teams and peers across different time zones
  • The ability to travel globally, when required.

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $67,500.00 - $81,000.00/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $75,000.00 - $90,000.00/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
