Industrial Designer

Tampa, FL / Remote

We are seeking a talented and innovative Industrial Designer to join our creative team, working under the guidance of the Sr. Director of Industrial Design and the Director of Industrial Design. In this role, you will play a key part in the company's new product development efforts, collaborating closely to shape and amplify the brand's vision across all levels of design. You will contribute to developing, refining, and executing product concepts that align with the brand's identity and strategic goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to push creative boundaries, explore new trends, and deliver products that resonate with our consumers.

Location: This role will be remote until our new Customer Experience Center opens in Tampa, Florida (planned for Fall 2025). At that point, the role will transition to a hybrid model from the Tampa office, which will feature immersive product demonstrations, a showroom, and creative collaboration spaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop 2D and 3D CAD models for various product lines, ensuring adherence to brand standards and design principles.
  • Collaborate with Category Managers to align product designs with marketing and business strategies.
  • Create high-quality 3D models, prototypes, and product renderings using CAD and rendering software to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Conduct thorough product research and trend analysis to drive innovation and inform the development of new products.
  • Participate in trade shows (in-person and virtual) to gather insights, enhance industry knowledge, and inform design decisions.
  • Translate research findings and creative concepts into actionable design insights that fuel the company's product development pipeline.
  • Manage design timelines effectively to meet project deadlines and maintain alignment with broader project objectives.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CREO).
  • Experience with rendering software (e.g., KeyShot, Blender).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Passion for creative problem-solving and innovation.
  • Optional but beneficial: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
