Primary Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the President of Wye River Insurance, the Senior Claims Executive is responsible for assisting with general claim reporting for auto, property, general liability and workers compensation claims, investigations, and reserve discussions across all divisions of Bozzuto AND non-Bozzuto clients.
The Senior Claims Executive role involves managing and training junior Claim Associates and building the claims team at Wye River, analyzing and creating loss summaries for insureds, working with Client Executives and Marketing Executives in a team environment, and serving as a claim advocate for all insureds.
As a Senior Claims Executive, your primary responsibilities include:
- Communicate with insurance company adjusters and TPAs to ensure prompt and accurate reporting according to industry and company standards.
- Evaluate each claim and provide recommendations on the appropriate medical, indemnity payments and other options to resolve claims.
- Collect documents for initial GL and property claims investigation & subrogation.
- Assist with compliance incident email tracking and other duties in GL, Property, Auto and WC lines of insurance.
- Provide key reporting for the Bozzuto Construction Company's Workers Compensation Contractor Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP).
- Track final vendor invoices for property claims and clinic invoices for CCIP claims.
- Collect property claim estimates from the adjuster for review.
- Analyze claim data and trends in various systems including Luminos and TREO.
- Generate regular reports for review by Wye River and Bozzuto & Associates
- Consistently track open and closed claims daily.
- Participate in claims strategy and review meetings.
- Assist with claims reporting.
- Participate in captive meetings and represent Bozzuto at these claims workshops.
What You Bring to Us:
- A Bachelor's Degree
- 2-3 years of experience in General Liability, Property or Workers Compensation
- Strong organization skills and ability to multitask efficiently and independently with close attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a positive and optimistic attitude in all situations
- Self-starter with strong time management skills who excels at working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Ability to travel regionally to various construction sites and client meetings.
Salary Range
$100,000-$115,000 USD
