Primary Responsibilities:

As the Payroll Coordinator, you will assist with the accurate and efficient processing of employee payroll. You will work closely with the Payroll & Tax team to maintain accurate records, assist with resolving payroll discrepancies, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the payroll process.

As a Payroll Coordinator your primary responsibilities include:

  • Assist with bi-weekly pre-payroll audits, ensuring accuracy before processing. Address employee inquiries related to payroll, providing timely and accurate information.

  • Monitor and respond to help desk tickets, assisting employees with payroll-related questions.

  • Assist with the entry of payroll adjustments as required.

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee wage garnishments. Address employee questions related to garnishment deductions.

  • Record and reconcile clothing allowance payments and deductions accurately in the payroll system.

  • Handle employee employment verification requests.

  • Assist in compiling payroll reports for property audits.

  • Assist with updating timesheet allocations and generating payroll audit reports.

  • Track and input smartphone allowance payments.

  • Participate in weekly new employee orientation sessions, providing information and answering questions regarding new hire tax forms and payroll-related matters.

  • Assist in submitting multi-worksite reports to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Assist with approval and processing of address and tax changes.

  • Review employee transfers and site changes, ensuring proper taxation and compliance with relevant regulations.


What You Bring to Us:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

  • Experience with Ultipro payroll and UTA timekeeping system highly preferred

  • Prior Payroll Experience

  • Knowledge of applicable federal and state(s) wages and tax laws, and compliance regulations

  • Client facing interaction experience.

  • Strong attention to detail and execution

  • Ability to work independently on assigned duties.

  • Function in accordance with established standards, policies, & applicable laws


Salary Range

$60,000-$70,000 USD
