WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
The Partner Deal Operations Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency and accuracy across our reseller sales process. This hybrid role combines expertise in deal structuring and operational execution with a strong sales-oriented mindset to ensure seamless collaboration with internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating persistence, attention to detail, and a passion for closing deals.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Deal Desk and Quoting Support
- Collaborate with the reseller organization to create and optimize quotes for complex and high-value deals, ensuring compliance with pricing policies and margin targets
- Analyze deal structures and identify opportunities to maximize profitability while meeting customer and reseller needs
- Work with teams on pricing strategies, discount structures, and contract terms, balancing business goals with partner satisfaction
- Proactively identify bottlenecks in the quoting process and help implement solutions to improve turnaround time
Order Processing and Finalization
- Work with Regional Partner Managers (RPMs) and partner teams on the end-to-end order processing lifecycle for reseller transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to contractual terms
- Act as the primary point of contact for resellers during order finalization, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including technical accounting, legal, deal desk, and order management, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and processing
- Monitor and report on order statuses, identifying and addressing delays or discrepancies
Process Optimization and Reporting
- Continuously evaluate and refine operational processes to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Create and monitor reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics, including pipeline, deal velocity, and order accuracy
- Provide regular updates to leadership on operational performance and strategic initiatives
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving systems, tools, and processes that support reseller operations
Sales Mindset and Strategic Impact
- Demonstrate persistence and drive to overcome obstacles and close deals efficiently, aligning with Box sales and revenue goals.
- Advocate for reseller partners within the organization, ensuring their needs are prioritized in decision-making processes
- Stay informed about partner updates and operational changes, leveraging insights to inform deal strategies and operational improvements
WHO YOU ARE
- 3+ years proven experience in sales operations, deal desk, order management, or a related role within the technology or SaaS industry
- Strong understanding of reseller ecosystems, including quoting, order processing, and partner enablement
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex deal structures and operational challenges
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems, with skills in data analysis and reporting tools
- Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on driving results and achieving operational excellence
