As a Senior Java Developer at Bounteous, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java applications. You will work closely with our team of developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions. Your primary focus will be on integrating systems using Camel and SOAP, ensuring seamless communication between various services

Information Security Responsibilities
- Awareness on information security measures such as acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, password security
- Understand and report security risks and how they impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand how data is stored, processed, or transmitted from a Data privacy and protection standpoint
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications.
- Implement integration solutions using Apache Camel and SOAP.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
- Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
- Document development processes, code, and design specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Java Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Camel and SOAP-based web services.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
- Knowledge of database systems, SQL, and ORM technologies (e.g., Hibernate).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
