The Senior Director, Salesforce Core Cloud is responsible for leading multiple workstreams of sophisticated enterprise customer engagements in partnership with large, cross-functional teams to bring digital customer experiences to life and drive results. This role will also have the opportunity to work closely with our Business Development team to support pursuit efforts.

An effective Senior Director will utilize strong interpersonal skills to demonstrate their industry knowledge, Salesforce and technical systems expertise, and understanding of digital customer experience practices to best deliver customer return on investment. The ideal candidate is dynamic and flexible with an affinity for data and process, demonstrates a strong desire to continually learn and improve, and actively seeks out opportunities to apply their knowledge and experience to individual client needs.

You must hold a current Salesforce Architect certification to be considered for this role.

Role and Responsibilities

    • Serve as day-to-day Salesforce Core Cloud technical platform SME to client stakeholders and internal teams
    • Lead technical design sessions, perform gap analysis between current and future end-states, and create architectural diagrams and other technical delivery documents
    • Work closely with product owners to define business requirements and build Salesforce platform solutions within a client's digital landscape
    • Partner with client and internal teams to define deliverables and manage expectations
    • Ensure the delivery of quality technical solutions by defining coding standards and leading code reviews
    • Support business development opportunities by developing and estimating solutions, serving as an expert consultant, and presenting solutions to prospective clients
    • Maintain current Salesforce Architect certification(s)
    • Actively support and participate in recruitment and marketing efforts to promote and drive growth of the Salesforce team
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest Salesforce product news and technical capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce Cloud systems as a Platform Architect, with demonstrated success leading 3+ platform implementation projects
    • 10+ years of experience in a CRM or software development role working with data-driven applications
    • 2+ years of experience in a client-facing role; an understanding of overall agency structures/processes and agile project management methodologies; agency experience preferred
    • Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Experience, and Marketing Clouds
    • Current Salesforce Architect certification required; additional Salesforce certifications a strong plus
    • Exposure to other Salesforce Industry Cloud capabilities (Consumer Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Heath Cloud, etc.) a plus
    • Experience delivering performant and scalable enterprise-level solutions
    • Proven ability to design and optimize and business processes across disparate enterprise systems
    • Experience using the Salesforce point-and-click developer interface for configuration (Flows, Lightning Data, etc.)
    • Familiarity with programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform such as Apex, LWCs, and VisualForce
    • Understanding of how to build solutions for large data volumes with Salesforce data loader and/or Dataloader.io
    • Experience integrating using authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth)
    • Knowledge of integration and headless/composable architecture, as well as third-party integration tools and ETL (MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, Jitterbit, etc.)
    • Experience managing, coaching, and up-skilling teams and supporting individual team member growth
    • Self-driven; the ability to work independently, define a way forward, and solve problems with limited direction; proven capacity to drive results in an evolving and complex organization
    • Strong communicator with all levels of leadership, management, and staff to achieve desired outcomes and build strong alliances and relationships
    • Outstanding executive presence, presentation, and negotiation skills; the ability to inspire, engage, partner with, and influence senior leadership
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Digitally-savvy and well-informed on digital innovations, trends, and technologies
    • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience preferred

$157,000 - $200,000 a year
Individual pay is determined by many factors, including experience, relevant education or training, and organizational needs. The mid-range to maximum of the salary range is generally reserved for individuals who are highly experienced in the role.
