Role Summary: As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Bounteous x Accolite, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions to drive the digital transformation initiatives of our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructures.

Information Security Responsibilities
- Awareness on information security measures such as acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, password security
- Understand and report security risks and how they impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand how data is stored, processed, or transmitted from a Data privacy and protection standpoint
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Implement best practices for cloud architecture and governance.
- Automate cloud operations and workflows using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance, security, and cost.
- Collaborate with development teams to support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Manage and integrate DevTools such as SonarQube and Artifactory for efficient development and deployment processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or similar roles.
- Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and cost management.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
- Knowledge of DevTools such as SonarQube for code quality and Artifactory for artifact management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
- Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Familiarity with data engineering and analytics services in the cloud.
