WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will be the social media leader for our three markets - UK, the Netherlands and Belgium, working across an integrated and dynamic team to develop distinctive and impactful social media strategies and execution. You will be familiar with organic and paid content and develop a strategy with both brand building and commercial impact in mind - focused on reaching our target audiences including clients, recruits, alumni, policymakers, business/economic influencers and internal.

You will have strong writing skills and the ability to adapt tone for a variety of executive voices. In addition to leading our local corporate channels, your focus will primarily be on enabling our senior leadership and BCG partners to effectively communicate through social channels with engaging and unique content, tailored to their expertise and style. You will bring global and local research and data-rich reports to life through developing creative content aligned with priorities like AI, climate & sustainability, UK/European competitiveness and social mobility.

You will bring creativity and deep expertise to optimise how we use LinkedIn and Instagram primarily with an eye to building a presence on additional platforms. You know how social media fits into wider marcomms mix, when and how to activate - and how articulate the value of social to empower BCGers to engage with confidence. You will work seamlessly within a Marketing and Communications team at local, regional and global level. You will also partner with Recruiting to showcase our employee value proposition, and our BCG partners and spokespeople.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Have overall responsibility for the strategy, planning and execution of BCG's LAB social media strategy, focused on paid and organic content, including content for BCG.com, our editorial calendar and partner enablement programme
Conceptualise, plan and deliver industry-leading and creative social media campaigns and storytelling - standalone and as an part of an integrated activation
Raising BCG's profile and awareness of capabilities in key commercial and brand-building priorities.
Translate BCG's recruitment strategy and targets into social campaigns that build awareness and drive potential target candidate groups through the funnel
Apply excellent communication skills to create, adapt and tailor messaging and content to engage a variety of audiences
Develop a robust measurement framework to assess effectiveness and impact against investment e.g. campaigns and channel performance, and extract learnings to improve future performance
Develop local angles in global campaign and thought leadership material to make relevant for our audiences in the UK, Netherlands and Belgium
Have experience identifying risk and navigating/monitoring sensitive issues playing out on social
Understand LAB-based social media influencer communities relevant to BCG's priorities and how to engage
As a senior manager on the team, play a role in the professional development of more junior tenured colleagues including on-boarding, coaching and mentoring.
Develop creative campaign ideas to challenge and build on what we've previously done

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

A minimum of 10 years' social media experience for a top-tier brand or agency (B2B service-orientated or professional services preferred)
Highly proficient writer and asset developer across all major digital channels, including a strong eye for impactful design.
Significant experience working with content management and scheduling systems e.g. Sprinklr, social listening tools and Google Analytics and experience evolving the social media mix as new technology and trends emerge e.g. AI, algorithm changes.
Proven experience delivering highly impactful campaigns reaching and influencing target audiences.
Experience in using social media and/or digital marketing for recruitment purposes would be highly advantageous.
Degree level educated to a 2:1 level, or equivalent

BCG's marketing team drives the firm's reputation as a thought leader. We work to strengthen and protect BCG's brand, advance our business agenda, and partner with management to engage with our key audiences through tools such as global thought-leadership publications, media relations, corporate communications, alumni outreach, recruitment marketing, and social media.
