What You'll Do
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will be a part of the Financial Institutions Data Tribe, focusing on the Retail banking segment, comprising content experts with strong industry knowledge, and executing and updating different proprietary assets such as peer benchmarks, databases, diagnostic tools, and simulation models to estimate the market size of the industry. As an integral member of the team, you will interact with both local and international teams as well as clients to diagnose/solve clients' problems and ensure the delivery of quality projects. You will be working under supervision in further development and enhancement efforts of the existing assets, as well as the creation of new offerings. Additional tasks involve the development of internal methodology and processes that require an inclination towards technology and new-age tools, exploring the art of the possible while feeling at ease manipulating and working with large data sets, and the ability to work with different big data and analytical tools.

Functional and soft skills:
Good understanding of the functions, products and services within the retail banking segment of a bank
Analysing large data sets, finding patterns and providing a concise summary
Working and interacting in a global and virtual team, incl. communicating with senior clients

Technical skills:
Strong command of MS Office suite, esp. PowerPoint and Excel.
Knowledge of FI industry databases like SNL, Bloomberg, Thomson, etc.
Working knowledge of BI tools, VBA, SQL/Databases, Alteryx, Python, DataIKU, Tableau, etc. will be a strong advantage.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data/information from clients (using excel based survey) as well as industry sources to update various data models on an annual basis
Assess market/industry trends as well as the competitive performance of firms operating in a particular market
Address client questions/queries using the data and content expertise
Preparing and delivering customized reports (through a digital platform and PowerPoints) to clients
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
University degree with demonstrated high academic achievement, preferably in Business administration (with a focus on finance), quantitative sciences (e.g., mathematics, statistics, physics), economics, computer science, engineering or other data/analytical-centric disciplines.
Knowledge/experience in the financial institution industry of 4 to 6 years is required, preferably in retail banking division in roles such as strategy, planning, advisory, product management or analytics
Proven research and database capabilities
Specific experience in market sizing or peer benchmarking, building simulation models of driver-based assessments, operating/developing diagnostic tools, etc., will be an added advantage#LI-RA1
Peers across Financial Institutions' data assets to execute and deliver the findings
Senior counterparts for directions, best practices, and overall guidance
BCG consulting teams and clients to discuss insights & offer ongoing access to data for consulting projects.
