Senior Manager, NAMR Procurement Operations

WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are seeking a skilled manager with expertise in project management and accounts payable to oversee and coordinate various projects within our organization's Enterprise Procurement and Payables team. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills along with a deep understanding of accounts payable processes and systems, with a high degree of experience with SAP and/or Coupa. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure timely and accurate completion of initiatives. This position will be responsible for United States, Canada, Costa Rica, and Mexico procurement related operations and will report directly into the Global Procurement organization.

The Senior Manager, NAMR Procurement Operations will be responsible for developing and executing project plans to streamline payables processes, enhance procurement efficiency, and optimize vendor relationships. This role will collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Treasury, and other internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget. Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive results in a dynamic environment are essential for success in this role.

Additional responsibilities include:
Coordinating and aligning the program strategy and goals with internal BCG business owners/stakeholders to maximize resources and investments and support mutual firm objectives
Serve as liaison between business and finance teams by gathering and aligning business requirements for respective projects and initiatives
Ability to communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements and specifications for process enhancements or system implementations
Help lead the implementation of accounts payable process improvements, including system upgrades, automation initiatives, and procedural changes
Engage in designing strategies to achieve our supplier diversity aspirations, rallying internal and external resources, and executing against the plan of action

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Bachelor's degree in business/finance/supply chain or related field (MBA or PMP certification helpful)
8+ years of experience, with years of relevant experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a finance, accounts payable, or procurement environment for a large, decentralized organization
Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of driving results and delivering projects on time and within budget
Procurement experience is a plus
High integrity and ethics
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, systems (e.g., ERP systems, AP automation tools), and best practices
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor multiple projects simultaneously
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and time management skills
Outstanding interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation skills with strong influencing and persuasive talents
Self-motivated, takes initiative; ability to effectively organize, multi-task and prioritize a wide array of initiatives
