WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Research Associate within BCG's Data and Research Service (DRS) function, you will form an integral part of our Costa Rica DRS team. Through the delivery of secondary research, you will contribute to BCG's client work and knowledge base by supporting proposals, client cases and business or internal development initiatives, with a special focus on Logistics, Freight, Construction, Real State topics. You will be responsible for delivering on variety of requests through the day by clearly synthesizing, packaging, articulating, and delivering your findings in a timely and accurate manner.
Excellent organization skills are essential for successfully managing a variety and volume of research requests by accurately summarizing data and facts into appropriate and timely output i.e. email, Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Along with supporting research products (i.e. news alerts, company profiles etc.), you will also contribute to knowledge capture and documentation.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Undergraduate degree minimum (a "Bachillerato" degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Engineering, Accounting, Business Management, Technology etc.)
Interest and/or personal knowledge in topics around Logistics, Freight, Construction, Real State topics, etc.
0-2 years relevant working experience
Excellent English; verbal and written.
Ability to work with wide array of platforms including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; to be able to provide insights in most user-friendly format.

The Data and Research Services (DRS) function is a dynamic and highly visible center of excellence focused on business research and process innovation. We collaborate with our consulting teams to bring advanced research capabilities to support projects and clients. DRS provides specialist research services to consulting teams and our Knowledge Team, taking deep pride in delivering rapid and precise results.
DRS works with both qualitative and quantitative data, conducting research and providing synthesized results from over 100 commercial sources, publicly available data, company and industry research, macro-economic, commodities and trade data.
