WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Knowledge Expert (KE), Team Manager within BCG's Social Impact Practice Area, you will deliver against the client and commercial priorities for the Sector/Topic business. You will grow and deploy a team of Sector/Topic experts to support case work, content development and business build initiatives. You will drive the IP/content agenda, with support from the team, and lead execution of Tier One and IP projects. You will be responsible for team's performance across all KPIs (case billability, quality, content creation, etc.).
Additionally, as a Knowledge Expert, Team Manager, you will engage with case teams & clients based on your individual expertise and demonstrate differentiated impact and value-add to BCG clients and case teams.

YOU'RE GOOD AT
• Leading problem solving and solutioning for clients and driving towards pragmatic solutions tailored to the business context
• Leading development and commercialization of knowledge and assets e.g. tools, Social Impact materials, in the social impact area of expertise
• Engaging and communicating with senior stakeholders, demonstrating expert presence and credibility
• Leading projects in a highly effective manner, mobilizing team to deliver on business priorities and commercial impact
• Acting as a highly effective coach and mentor, guiding team members to achieve goals efficiently and effectively
• Working in an ever changing and complex environment, and comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environment
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
• 5+ years consulting experience in relevant social impact sector required; candidates with consulting experience preferred
• In lieu of consulting experience, 7+ years minimum industry experience required; 10-12+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred)
• Specialization in social impact sector/ topic
• Fluency in English
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with and manage internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.
BCG's Knowledge Team members have the opportunity to be staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA's business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
