WHAT YOU'LL DO
Request various kinds of work and residence permits for Switzerland for our worldwide BCG employees
Responsible for end-to-end process for all services on work permits for Switzerland, including; but not limited to, gathering all information and documents, write application letters and ensure permits are approved in due time, while acting as point of contact for employees and managers.
Main focus on short-term permits for project-related work, as well as for long-term secondments and temporary and permanent transfers we well as new hires
Provide advice and consultative support for our employees throughout their work or residence permit process
Communicate with work permit and visa experts, internal stakeholders and public offices

Maintain overview of all new and existing work permit applications and potential renewals
Stay up-to-date about Swiss immigration law to serve as a knowledge carrier in this field
Cultivate contacts to local offices for economy and labor laws, work closely with the authorities and implement governmental requirements accordingly
Act as deputy for the Immigration & Mobility Specialist in our team, on occasion you will support Mobility transfer requests
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Working in a demanding, dynamic and frequently changing environment
Staying on top of things while handling long term processes and short-term inquiries
Identifying issues or priorities and finding client-oriented solutions
Communicating proactively and adjusting your communication style in order to communicate recipient-friendly, clear and efficiently
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Commercial education or equivalent
Broad, general and up-to-date know how on Swiss labor (Immigration law) as well as HR processes and practices is preferred
Ideally experience in a multinational company with complex matrix organizations or in consulting
Outstanding knowledge of English and German (B2-C1, written and oral), good knowledge of French is beneficial
Proficient computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
YOU'LL WORK WITH
Reporting to the Swiss Staffing and Mobility Manager, you will work within our dedicated Swiss Staffing & Mobility team. As the central point of contact for work permits, you will liaise and communicate regularly with project officers, internal and external business service teams as well as the Swiss immigration offices (labor & economy and migration).
