The learning and development experience is designed to prepare BCG employees for their current roles and the next level of challenges in their career progression. It is delivered through a combination of live (local, regional, and worldwide) and distance learning offerings, including e-learning and virtual classrooms.

The Global L&D Team (NDE) oversees and manages the participant pools for worldwide and regional training programs, and supports the planning, preparation, and execution of various L&D programs and campaigns. This includes calendar scheduling, program hosting, material preparation, and program and cost analysis.

The Global L&D Team is a dynamic group, constantly required to evolve with the business's needs. This means that roles are flexible and vary depending on global priorities. The duties of this role are subject to change, but the initial allocations and focus are likely to be as follows-

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Work in a matrix structure with a strong focus on partnering with stakeholders to build effective relationships and achieve common goals.
Host and produce virtual events, delivering high-quality sessions that engage global audiences.
Demonstrate exceptional proficiency in English, with strong communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and interact effectively with participants.
Maintain a professional presence on Zoom and other virtual hosting platforms, managing sessions with confidence and calm, especially in complex situations.
Utilize a variety of virtual hosting tools, such as Zoom, to manage events, including creating breakout rooms, moderating discussions, and multitasking efficiently to ensure smooth operation of each session.
Coordinate all aspects of event setup, from scheduling and sending out invites to configuring event platforms to meet specific requirements.
Monitor and moderate live events to address any technical issues quickly, ensuring a positive experience for all attendees.
Track attendance, solicit and analyze feedback, identify areas for improvement, and escalate concerns as necessary to continuously enhance the quality of our events.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in virtual events and share best practices and lessons learned with the team.
Utilize a variety of Learning Management Systems (LMS) tools, such as SABA, to enhance the learner experience, manage content, and track participant progress.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Confident working in an international environment with participants from all over the world, team workers, collaborative, be part of an international team.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and interact effectively with a diverse audience.
Strong virtual presence, with experience hosting training/webinars on platforms like Zoom, MS Teams
Possesses excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Works cooperatively with other team members, displaying an important level of motivation and enthusiasm for tasks.
Proficient computer skills: particularly Windows, Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Good analytical skills: demonstrated ability to work with data sets and present data in an insightful format tailored to the audience.

Accuracy and attention to detail; experience double-checking and cross-checking own work.

Good organizing skills incl. work planning and meeting and exceeding deadlines

Strong customer focus; responsive to queries in a consistent manner and with a sense of urgency.

Ability to respect all BCG (Boston Consulting Group) information as personal and confidential.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Undergraduate degree, studies in management, HR, or communications
2-5 years of experience in a role related to virtual event coordination.
Proven experience in hosting and managing virtual events, with a strong understanding of virtual event platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly SABA, including setting up courses, managing learners, and generating reports.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
Experience in technical troubleshooting and resolving common virtual event issues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and positive attitude towards solving problems.
Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
* Ideally international experience during studies or professional employment. Awareness of cultural differences and willingness to adapt workstyle to a multi-cultural environment.

YOU'LL WORK WITH
A passionate and dedicated Learning & Development team, who are currently spread across the globe. You will be part of the operations team that oversees the overall orchestration of global programs and learning journeys. As a complex matrix structured organization, you may also work with L&D teams in our local systems across our regions as well as with counterparts and colleagues in the Regional L&D teams. You will establish strong relationships across our people functions and beyond to successfully learn, educate and influence others.
