WHAT YOU'LL DO
In your role as the Global IT Software Engineer Senior Manager & Chapter Lead, you will lead the Quality Assurance (QA) chapter within the IT & Business Platforms team at BCG. This team manages critical platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, AdobeSign, UiPath, and Microsoft Power Apps. You will spearhead the innovation and enhancement of QA processes, ensuring that our practices not only meet but also exceed the highest standards of efficiency and quality. A key part of your role will involve collaborating with the central QA Center of Excellence to align our QA strategies with industry best practices and to continuously refine and advance our processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for the direct line management of our QA engineers, guiding their professional development, and ensuring alignment with project goals and company standards.

YOU'RE GOOD AT
• Strategically leading initiatives to automate and optimize testing processes, significantly enhancing both efficiency and quality of outcomes.
• Cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the QA chapter, ensuring alignment with global standards and business goals.
• Building effective relationships across functions to integrate QA strategies with broader business objectives, all while upholding BCG's core values of commitment and teamwork.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
• A Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of leadership experience in QA management within a software development environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with test management and defect management tools such as Zephyr, TestRail, or qTest.
• Hands-on experience with key software platforms used by the IT & Business Platforms team is preferred.
• Expertise in modern QA technologies and methodologies, with a strong focus on process automation and optimization.
• A thorough understanding of Agile methodologies and a comprehensive grasp of the software development lifecycle, particularly within the QA context.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of leading complex projects to successful outcomes.

As a Senior Manager and Chapter Lead, you will direct a dedicated QA team, collaborating closely with other leaders within the IT & Business Platforms team. Your guidance will ensure that our technology solutions achieve the highest standards of quality and operational excellence.
