WHAT YOU'LL DO
You are a key member of the Office Experience team responsible for the staff and visitor experience of the office. Serving as the first point of contact for clients and visitors to the BCG office, the Concierge Assistant is valued as the "Chief of First Impressions". In addition, you will provide backup assistance to other members of the Office Experience Team, especially during peak times for internal and training events as well as perform general office tasks as necessary.
Greet all guests and provide a welcoming experience
Manage all guest visits to the office
Maintaining the general appearance of the office and office equipment
Stocking and maintaining cafe and common areas, support meeting and events as requested

Coordinate print job requests and other requests as necessary to client facing teams
Supporting local office affiliation, assisting with building services requests and performing other tasks as necessary
Make updates to internal & external Microsites as directed
Managing office and meeting room reservations
Monitoring concierge inbox
Maintain office documentation on processes and standard operating procedures
Stocking refrigerators, snacks, etc.
Ordering lunches, snacks, drinks as necessary
Facility maintenance: annual & ad hoc
Daily management of facility vendors: security, plant, cleaners, painters, furniture, etc.
Additional office projects and tasks as assigned

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Demonstrating critical thinking and interpersonal skills in an environment that requires juggling competing priorities among a variety of stakeholders
Setting up a high standard of hospitality by providing guidance to colleagues and visitors in a concierge setting, rather than that of a traditional reception desk
Being a focal point of contact for the office and being able to direct and facilitate internal and external inquiries related to the office
Coordinating catering for small and large groups, including researching catering options, developing relationships with caterers and vendors, and setting up and tearing down food and beverages for numerous meetings and events
Flexibly moving between being proactive and reactive mode with the ability to create and/or assess processes or better ways of delivering desired results

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Openness and receptiveness to meeting new people - culturally sensitive and have a passion for making guests and colleagues feel at home and welcome with a sense of pride
High emotional intelligence and ability to control emotions, remain patient, and maintain service-oriented behavior while working efficiently in stressful situations
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience desired
1 - 3 years of experience in a professional environment - concierge experience in a hospitality setting preferred
Strong organizational and process management skills and are comfortable with multi-tasking and prioritizing within a fast-paced, demanding environment
Ability to spend significant time walking and standing and to lift packages and equipment up to 30lbs

YOU'LL WORK WITH
Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. We are made up of executive and administrative (or case team) assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.
