WHAT YOU'LL DO

Optimize the deployment of BCG X Leads and above within the relevant Systems across AP to meet the needs of our business while ensuring that each consultant receives the right set of opportunities to support their immediate BCG Career Development objectives and their overall long-term professional goals.
Responsible for oversight and deployment of BCG X Delivery resources across Build and Analytics & Automation to meet the regional needs of the business including increasing regional engagement across all Systems.
Optimize business priorities, team design, and billability through a deep awareness of current available skills/expertise, cases, business pipeline, and regional goals; maintain a view of staffing pipeline at a macro and micro level, including the triage of capacity between X Consulting and Delivery teams

Build strong relationships with BCG X senior stakeholders (e.g., principals, partners, associate directors, directors) to deeply understand the project pipeline and project requirements (timing, skills, etc.,), optimize resource deployment, balance priorities, and advise leaders on team setup and best practices including engagement with CommEx, DevEx and Teaming
Maintain an acute awareness of the business environment and priorities; understand objectives of client/cases and openly communicate information relative to case opportunities with individuals; drive the effective deployment of any available capacity
Build strong relationships with BCG X team members to understand development needs and preferences for staffing; discuss upcoming projects; advise on staffing choices to achieve balance between BCG's business needs and personal preferences when possible; communicate staffing decisions and related rationale; set and enforce staffing policies and expectations
Lead and manage the weekly / fortnightly management control and reporting cycle including AP staffing call and weekly reporting to ensure regionally integrated visibility
Drive and lead operational priorities and special projects outside the scope of ordinary business through collaboration with other system and regional functions and provide relevant views on the team to drive the larger operational agenda, including capacity forecasting, affiliation and HR
Responsible for driving and then supporting regional, system and chapter level engagement across the region
Responsible the design, implementation and improvement of key staffing processes and management tools to support the growth and evolution of the business including connections with core, other digital specialities and BST functions
Manage the day-to-day activities of the staffing team members and provide mentorship; directly oversee their career development goals, feedback process and relevant onboarding and training

Orchestrate complex agendas, align senior leadership, prioritizing activities and working with others to get things done
Manage and execute projects efficiently; provide hands-on support to multiple activities, often requiring strong consulting skills (slide writing, effective communication, general modeling and analytics, etc.,)
Collaborate and communicate with various teams and individuals, with different level of seniority in different geographies and with different backgrounds. Communicate with senior leaders and be a connection point for the community
Engage senior stakeholders across X functions and BCG independently to ensure alignment, transparency and access to the right information to provide reporting and analysis to LT
Independently lead cross functional teams to drive change and meet business priorities / KPI's, knows who to leverage and where the right information can be accessed
Must demonstrate significant maturity in dealing with stakeholders

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Advanced Degree (Masters, MBA, JD, PhD, etc.) preferred

8+ years of professional experience (or relevant consulting experience); ideally in HR/talent management within a consulting environment, or 2+ years client-facing work experience in a professional services organization

3 yrs+ consulting experience at Consultant or Project Leader equivalent level is considered a big advantage to understanding our target audience's needs and skills in their roles

Knowledge in a people or recruiting function, and or HR systems such as workday beneficial

Advanced analytics capabilities (Excel, Tableau etc.,) with strong capability in PPT
