Role Description:
Ensuring the highest standard of in-house payroll services by managing and maintaining relationships with Payroll NL team members, Payroll NL Manager, internal stakeholders (e.g. Finance, HR & Legal) and third parties (e.g. tax office, pension provider) to ensure accurate, compliant and timely processed payroll within a global and dynamic environment. This is typically a working supervisor who spends more than 60% of time performing payroll processing, checking and related activities. And as a senior spends an average of 40% of time planning, coordinating, supervising and advising on payroll related matters and activities.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate all payroll activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Manage payroll workload to meet operational excellence requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Dutch legislation, company policies, and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) requirements.
- Lead Payroll NL projects to maintain a scalable and compliant payroll environment.
- Support and process cross-border payroll and equity administration.
- Prepare monthly payroll reconciliations, journal, and accrual reports.
- Manage relationships with third parties such as tax offices, pension providers, and debt collectors.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficiency in Dutch Wage tax/Social Security regulation and labor law, with experience in cross-border payroll matters and various HR/Payroll systems, including working within a SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) environment.
- Praktijkdiploma Loonadministratie (VPL) certification.
- Fluency in English and Dutch.
- Ability to advise on Dutch taxations and labor law related to employee benefits and compensations.
- Up-to-date knowledge on wage tax, pension, social security, and other employment laws/regulations (labor law).
- Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders such as other HR functions, employees, and third parties.
- Experience with SAP and Workday required.
