This role is part of the Digital Channels team within Digital Partner Experience (DPE), which focuses on scaling the management of our supply partners and ultimately empowering these partners to discover commercial growth opportunities. Our target audience includes a diverse range of accommodations globally, who are currently in partnership or in the process of partnering with Booking.com.

The Digital Channels Senior Specialist owns and drives advanced digital marketing campaigns towards partners around the globe by steering and operating different push channels with a focus on email, banners and notifications. They collaborate with and advise stakeholders on complex campaign set up with a focus on regulatory and compliance go-to-markets, and continuously optimise channel and campaign metrics through analysis, experimentation and channel improvement projects. As experts in their field and through in-depth analysis, they find opportunities to drive and improve our channel strategies and processes.

The goal of the Digital Channels Senior Specialist is to refine, optimise and innovate digital campaign strategies & approaches across partner communications and owned channels to drive partner reach and engagement, as well as partner satisfaction in order to digitally manage partner relationships.

Key Job Responsibilities & Duties:

End-to-End campaign management

  • Own advanced digital marketing campaigns from set up to continuous optimization across various push channels, ensuring constant refinement of campaign strategies and approaches across partner communications and owned channels.
  • Define project metricsand understand their impact on performance targets within the team and department. Actively report on the project metrics to guide decision-making for ongoing improvement.
  • Effectively and independently deliver projects/hypothesis prioritized in the program Backlog

Project & Stakeholder management

  • Lead projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder goals and partner needs while managing technical implications and barriers. This involves fostering collaboration and alignment across teams, communicating outcomes and findings to stakeholders, and validating and monitoring project results to drive continuous improvement.
  • Define project hypotheses and design MVP project setups and experiments aimed at improving business impact, reducing time spent, and increasing partner experience. Apply data and insights to validate assumptions that drive project success.
  • Effectively drive campaigns and project impact by fostering stakeholder collaboration within your scope of responsibility, including Marketing Technology, Content Creators, Data Analytics and Campaign requestors to ensure deliverables are of high quality and ready within agreed timelines.

Craft Leadership

  • Gain recognition as an expert in your craft by sharing knowledge and insights, by showcasing the impact of the project and positioning yourself as a valuable resource within the business. This involves guiding, consulting and educating team members within and outside the project to enhance their understanding.
  • Serve as the voice of partners within the project team, advocating for their needs and perspectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience implementing multi-channel (digital) marketing campaigns on a global level. Email marketing experience is a must.
  • Experience with Marketing Automation tools from 3rd party vendors. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engage and basic knowledge of HTML a plus.
  • Proven analytical skills, understanding of digital marketing metrics and reporting. Basic SQL a plus.
  • Strong logical thinking skills for automated flow and journey set up and deployment.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
  • Ability to manage parallel tracks and expectations for project scope changes, seeing intersection points, and mitigating risks.
  • Innovation skills (creativity, critical thinking, strategic thinking, and problem solving)
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Strong experimentation, test and learner mentality using advanced A/B testing to derive insights.
  • Experience working in a Business-to-Business marketing environment, preferably in a multinational context.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that changes rapidly.
